Vehicle Details:
- 72,500 miles
- Clean title
- Convertible
- GT model with Turbo
- Highest horsepower model from factory
- Has beefed up engine and transmission internals with the 3.4L Turbo engine
- Fully loaded from factory with all bells and whistles, with exception of heated seats
- Brand new windshield
- New Dorman Rear Sway Bar (helps a lot). They had them on the first few years of the PT Cruiser so all the screw holes are still there to add this. One of the only Convertible Turbo PT Cruisers you'll find with this rare device.
- Completely rust free
- Clear bra on front of car
- Chrome hood struts for automatic hood lift, a rare find also on these PT Cruisers
- New Champion Copper Plus spark plugs (factory recommended) & new spark plug wires from Advance Auto
- Professionally painted valve cover to match car color, with lifted letters still showing machined finish
- Refurbished TIPM
- Somewhat garage kept
- Perfect condition convertible top
- New LED headlight bulbs with new clear plastic headlight assemblies
- New LED taillight bulbs
- New LED foglights
- New performance street tires
- New battery terminals, with electrical grounds cleaned up at all points
- Three sets of keys with lock, unlock, trunk, and panic button
- Fully synthetic Mobil 1 High Mileage oil with Mobil 1 Extended range oil filter. I always change the oil every 5k miles. I believe there is 1k miles on this oil change.
- Blows cold A/C and very good heat (some of the best heat in a car I have ever seen actually)
- Boston Acoustics high quality sound system from factory
- Clear coat peel on top of the rear bumper (limited to top section)
- The TIPM's (Totally Integrated Power Module), which most think is just a fuse box, on these 2nd gen PT Cruisers (2006 to 2010) sometimes have relays go out which throws false flag engine codes. And why a number of PT Cruisers are sent to the junkyard prematurely, even though the engines and transmissions are still perfectly fine. There is actually smart circuitry going on inside these boxes. Hence why I replaced the TIPM with a better one. The engines are built like a tank though and can go 400k miles if treated well (regular oil changes and all other basic maintenance). There is good news though, one can have these TIPM's sent off to have better newer relays put in that won't have such issues. If you know electronics yourself, then you can solder in some new relays yourself from Mouser or Digikey.
