    Description

Examine the photographs closely, the item pictured is the item you will receive.  Special 8-page July 1916 issue of the Franklin Journal, published in Farmington, Maine (county seat) celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the founding of Kingfield, Maine, 20 miles north of Farmington.  This is a "must-have" for the Stanley collector, as Farmington was the home town of F.E. Stanley and his twin brother F.O. Stanley, manufacturers of the Stanley dry plates which revolutionized photography, and also the Stanley Steamer automobiles, the first assembly-line mass-produced vehicles in the United States.  Plenty of family information about the Stanleys sprinkled throughout, including a two-page family history written by Chansonetta Stanley, F.E. and F.O. Stanley's sister.  This broadsheet is gigantic, 2 feet by 17 inches, and will have to be mailed folded, unless you desire to pick it up in person.
Slight inconsequential paper damage as noted in description and photographs, but otherwise intact with no moldy or funky smells.  Sorry, I only ship to within the United States, and not to post office box numbers.  Thanks for looking and please submit any questions or suggest corrections prior to bidding.
