    Description

This metal item comes from the Baldwin Locomotive Works Philadelphia 17124 October 1899
    Burnham Williams & Co. Train.
In the original condition.  Looks like it is made of brass. I thought it was a train whistle, but another Ebayer is telling me it is not a whistle. Another Ebayer suggested it was a grinding tool, such as a pepper mill.  So, I am not sure what it is.
I was told this train went through Nevada, Arizona and California and also Oregon, via Southern Pacific Railroad, and was dismantled in California.
