  • Condition: Condiition is very very good. This thumb piano can be tuned to any key. Currently all notes are tuned to a minor key. The thumb piano has a rich and very earthy sound.

    Description

    This is a handmade and tunable thumb piano.  By pushing or pulling the tines back and forth you can tune each note to full tone or half-tone note (standard notes or sharps and flats, as on a real piano).  There are seven notes.  It has a very earthy and very full toned.  The gourd shape is a perfect instrument shape as it resonates sound very well and with great volume for such a small musical instrument.
    As a side note,  I am a builder of many musical instruments: thumb pianos, Swedish Nyckelharpa, and Celtic harps of all sizes.  If there is an instrument you like to have built, contact me via ebay email.   However, I did not build this instrument.
