    Description

    This is for a vintage 1980s General Cinema Corp male management tie and was a piece of the official GCC male manager uniform. Tie has the GCC logo in 3 places. Measures approximately 54" in length. This one has one seam that needs to be restitched (see photo), along with a couple of minor pulled threads. There is also a small 1/4" tear on the end of the part of the tie that lays in the back. Beyond that 1/4" tear is an additional small split (see photo). Minor wear from age and use back in the 1980s (this was my personal tie when I was an assistant manager at a General Cinema theater). The tip of the lower part of the front of the tie curves upwards slightly (and can probably be ironed flat). Branded Alibrandi Apparel. Very scarce piece, particularly since these were usually returned once your employment was ended. General Cinema had troubles from 1993 forward, and finally went under in 2002 when AMC acquired the chain's final existing theaters.
